We try to get out to them as soon as they open and share what we see with you! On March 27 the new Oakridge Calgary Co-op store celebrated its grand opening.  Covering a total of 53,000 square feet, the new facility features a 48,000 square foot grocery store with an extra 5,000 square feet designated for future retail tenants, who will be revealed later this year. The new store features advanced design and technology, including CO2 based refrigeration units, for high efficiency, and low carbon emissions, and energy efficient LED lighting throughout. It also has the same popular features as other Calgary Co-op locations, including an expanded meat section, an oyster bar, a floral and produce counter, ready-to-eat meals, a health and wellness section, and a community room. A stand-out feature is the drive through pick up lane for a seamless online shopping experience.   ![calgary-co-op-food-store-8_8738216_Q01-001_Hrfht](https://www.fieldagentcanada.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Blog/calgary-co-op-food-store-8_8738216_Q01-001_Hrfht.jpg?width=557&height=418&name=calgary-co-op-food-store-8_8738216_Q01-001_Hrfht.jpg)   We just had to see it, so we sent three local agents to give us a virtual tour.
